Release notes

CoreBB 1.1.5 contents

The initial public release is focused on getting the basic bulletin-board system out in the open. The scope is intentionally ordinary: forum features, administration, and enough project plumbing to run the support board.

Forum structure

Categories, boards, topics, replies, last-post metadata, private boards, archive areas, and read-only spaces.

Posting and formatting

BBCode, quotes, links, images, colors, highlights, code blocks, Markdown sections, polls, edits, and replies.

Member tools

Profiles, avatars, signatures, private messages, favorites, notifications, search, blogs, and account workflows.

Moderation

Lock/unlock topics, remove/restore posts, review reports, manage bans, and handle board-specific moderation tasks.

Administration

Board management, system settings, style controls, mail configuration, backups, user management, rights editing, and version history.

Maintenance/developer pieces

Twig-backed templates, prepared database queries, CSRF protection, installer guards, API endpoints, and shared web/API helpers.

Project

Source, support, and status

CoreBB is released as source code. The GitHub repository is the download location; the live forum is the place for installation questions, bug reports, and announcements.
